🌿 General Questions
What is this blog about?
This blog is a soft landing place for people on a healing journey — especially those navigating childhood emotional neglect, highly sensitive nervous systems, burnout, or motherhood without a village. It weaves together emotional insight, seasonal practices, simple living, and soul-rooted parenting.
Who are you, and what inspired you to create this blog?
I’m Mina — a mother, writer, lover of both nature and psychology. I created this blog as a space I wish had existed when I felt alone, overwhelmed, and unsure how to live with depth and peace in a fast, noisy world. You can read more on the My Journey page.
I feel overwhelmed — where should I start?
You’re not alone. Start with the Start Here page — it gently guides you based on where you are: healing your inner world, aligning with nature, or navigating early motherhood.
Do I need to follow all three categories to benefit?
Not at all. Some readers come for emotional healing, others for recipes and rhythm. Many find unexpected connections between them. Trust your curiosity.
đź’” Emotional Healing & CEN
What is Childhood Emotional Neglect (CEN)?
CEN is when your emotional needs weren’t acknowledged, validated, or supported in childhood. It’s often invisible but shows up as emptiness, self-doubt, or difficulty connecting to others or yourself. I write about it with compassion and clarity.
How do I know if I’ve experienced CEN?
You may feel numb, like something is missing but you don’t know what. You may be overly independent or find emotions confusing. I offer resources, signs, and exercises to explore this gently. You can also begin by reading Running on Empty by Jonice Webb.
Can healing from CEN really happen in adulthood?
Absolutely. Healing is possible — not through quick fixes but through understanding, presence, and practice. That’s what I try to offer here: emotional tools, guidance, and stories of change.
How does your blog help with emotional healing?
I share grounded insights, journaling prompts, personal reflections, and practices rooted in IFS, attachment theory, and trauma awareness. Many articles feel like therapy — just softer.
What are the psychological approaches you draw from?
IFS (Internal Family Systems), AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), trauma theory, Jungian archetypes, and attachment theory — all from a lived, applied perspective.
Do you offer personal support or therapy?
No, I’m not a licensed therapist. I write, share tools, and create guides — but I always encourage you to seek therapy if you need more support.
🍂 Living with the Seasons
What does “seasonal living” mean to you?
It means living in tune with natural rhythms — adjusting food, rest, work, and self-care with the changing seasons. It’s grounding, healing, and a way to feel at home in your body and life.
I live in the city — can I still live seasonally or forage?
Yes! I live in the city, too. You don’t need a garden or forest to reconnect. You can notice tree buds, cook seasonally, or grow herbs on a windowsill. It’s more about awareness than setting.
Are your recipes and remedies safe to use without special training?
Yes — I share gentle, beginner-friendly uses for plants, often based on folk tradition and personal experience. I always note if caution is needed.
Why do you connect emotional healing with the seasons?
Because we are seasonal beings. We don’t bloom all the time. Nature teaches us how to rest, shed, rise, and root — emotionally and physically.
How do you suggest I begin if I’m totally new to seasonal living?
Start by noticing. What’s changing outside? How does it affect your body and mood? Try eating local seasonal produce or walking with intention (barefoot if safe).
🤱 Motherhood & Gentle Parenting
What kind of topics do you write about under motherhood?
Postpartum, emotional triggers, parent-child connection, sibling dynamics, natural births, parenting without screens, and how to break cycles gently — not perfectly.
Do you share personal stories or more general guidance?
Both. I often share my own journey — raw, honest, and practical — alongside tools and insights others can use. It’s not about giving advice, but sharing perspective.
I’m not a mother — is this still relevant to me?
Yes. Many of us parent ourselves, or relate to children, nieces, nephews, students. And healing early patterns is relevant whether or not you have kids.
How do you care for yourself while caring for others?
Slowly and simply. Tea, nature, journaling, alone time. Also by saying no, doing less, and asking for support when possible.
🛠️ Practical & Blog Questions
How often do you publish new posts?
I aim for several times a week, but it varies. I write when inspiration strikes, and I prioritize depth over speed.
Can I share your articles or recipes on my own blog or social media?
Yes, with credit and a link back to the original. Please don’t repost full articles without permission, but feel free to share excerpts.
Do you accept collaborations or guest posts?
Selectively — I prefer to keep this space aligned with my values. But feel free to reach out if something resonates.
What’s your privacy policy? What happens to my email address?
Your privacy matters. If you sign up for any of the newsletters, I never share your email. I don’t track or sell your data.
Do you use affiliate links or earn money through this blog?
Yes, sometimes. I use affiliate links but only for books I love and would recommend anyway. Though most of the guides I share are free, I do offer several more comprehensive resources for sale — always fairly priced and filled with value. One such product is the Grow Through Motherhood 60-page journal with a Pay-what-you-can starting at 5€.
